Loon Rangers to the rescue.

Carl and Jean Braun are Rice Lake's designated Loon Rangers. They have spent countless hours dedicating their time to understanding, designing and overseeing Rice Lake's protective loon habitat. As a result of the Braun's dedicated efforts, every year residents and visitors to Rice Lake can count on hearing the mystical call of a loon at dusk.
